The word of the week …

“The important thing is this: To be able at any moment to sacrifice what we are for what we could become.” – Henry Dubois

“It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.” – Alan Cohen

“Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage.” – Anais Nin

“Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.” – Winston Churchill

“Courage is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm.” – Winston Churchill

“Promise me you’ll always remember: You’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” – Christopher Robin to Pooh

🙂

“If my mind can conceive it, and my heart believe it, I know I can achieve it.” – Jesse Jackson

So you’ve probably guessed that the word is… courage. Another neat one to ponder. I shall leave with this quote that spoke to me. A good one to remember it at the end of a hard day.:

“Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I’ll try again tomorrow.” – Mary Anne Radmacher
